Is your jewelry handmade?
Yes, all of Eras jewelry is lovingly handcrafted with tiny treasures—vintage Swarovski crystals, antique filigree, and stones that shimmer like enchanted forest dew.
How do you make your jewelry?
Each piece of Eras Jewelry is handcrafted in my little studio in Wisconsin, where magic, history, and artistry meet. I use a blend of century-old techniques—like soldering, hand-layering, and custom polishing—to create new settings for vintage glass stones, many of which are no longer in production. Every design is slow-made using sustainably sourced materials like vintage Swarovski crystals, and rare Czech and West German glass, paired with filigrees sourced from century old manufacturers. It’s a process that’s a little timeworn, a little whimsical, and a lot one-of-a-kind.
Are your pieces one-of-a-kind?
Yes! Most of Eras Jewelry designs are made in extremely limited quantities—sometimes only one or two—because I use rare, often discontinued vintage glass stones and crystals. Once I run out of a particular vintage Swarovski or Czech fire opal, that exact piece can’t be made again. If you fall in love with something, I always suggest claiming it before it vanishes into the mist.
Is your jewelry vintage or reproduction?
My designs are completely original. While I use vintage materials—like old-stock glass stones, some antique filigrees, and Swarovski crystals—every design is imagined and handcrafted by me, not copied from old pieces. I often take inspiration from the romantic styles of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Victorian eras, but every creation is a new interpretation. The result is jewelry that feels like a forgotten heirloom from a fairytale that’s never been told.
Are your vintage stones recycled or previously worn?
Great question! The vintage stones I use are vintage stock—meaning they are truly old, often dating back 50–100 years, but they have never been used in finished jewelry before. These old-world crystals and Czech glass cabochons were once made in small factories in Europe and stored away when styles changed. So while they carry the charm and history of the past, they’re sparkling and untouched—just waiting to find their first forever home.
🌎 Is your jewelry sustainable or eco-friendly?
Yes—sustainability is a guiding light in everything I do. I work with vintage and many antique components, many of which have been sitting quietly in old warehouses for decades, waiting to be rediscovered. I craft in small batches from my home studio, creating as little waste as possible. My process breathes new life into forgotten treasures, giving them purpose without taking new resources from the earth. This is slow, meaningful jewelry—made to last and made with care, while being kind to the planet.
How do I care for and clean my Eras Jewelry?
My pieces are made with vintage glass stones, brass, and carefully soldered details—like tiny wearable treasures from another time. To keep your piece looking as enchanting as the day it arrived, store it in a dry place away from moisture or direct sunlight. Brass components may naturally develop a soft patina over time—that's part of their charm! If needed, gently clean with a soft, dry cloth. Remove before showering. Avoid exposure to water, perfume, lotions and harsh cleaners, especially on soldered or stone-set areas. To remove dirt build up, gently clean your pieces with mild dish soap and warm water, and dry the jewelry completely before storing. Treat your fae treasure gently, and it will continue to sparkle for years to come.
Will your jewelry turn my skin green or black?
Some people may experience discoloration from brass or even sterling silver—it's a natural chemical reaction between metal and skin oils, pH levels, or lotions. It doesn’t mean the metal is low quality (even pure gold can cause this for some!). To help prevent this, I carefully hand-paint the inside of my rings and other skin-contact areas with a clear, skin-safe sealant. This creates a protective barrier and helps minimize any reaction. You can also reapply clear jewelry lacquer or nail polish over time if needed. If you have especially sensitive skin, feel free to message me and I’ll do my best to add extra sealing where needed:)
Do you take custom or personalized orders?
While I don’t take fully custom orders, I do offer small customizations when possible—like adjusting chain length, ear wires, or sometimes swapping stone colors (especially if I have a rare match in my vintage stash!). If you see something you love but wish for a small tweak, feel free to message me. I’ll always do my best to make a little magic happen.
🎁 How Is your jewelry packaged and is it ready to gift?
Every piece arrives ready to delight. Each piece of jewelry is lovingly packaged in a gift-ready box with a whimsical touch. I carefully wrap your order to protect the delicate vintage stones and filigree, and I often include a handwritten note. Whether you’re gifting or treating yourself, unboxing your jewelry should feel like opening a little treasure from an enchanted forest. You can also leave a note at checkout if you’d like me to include a personalized message for the recipient.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 3–5 business days from my home studio in Wisconsin. I create each listing in small batches and often have the pieces ready to go. I use USPS First Class or Priority Mail, and you’ll receive tracking information as soon as it ships. If you need your order quickly, just message me—I’ll always try to help.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Returns and Exchanges accepted within 7 days. Some exclusions apply, see shop Policies
