Life has a funny way of leading us down unexpected paths. My journey to becoming a jewelry designer began with challenges that tested my resilience and creativity.

Years ago, I had to quit my job to attend to pressing family matters. The stress and emotional strain took a toll on my health, triggering debilitating cluster migraines that made it impossible for me to work outside the home. Faced with the daunting task of balancing home responsibilities while supporting myself financially, I turned to a familiar passion: jewelry making.

Jewelry has been part of my life since childhood. Inspired by my family's legacy, which includes goldsmiths who crafted artisan filigree jewelry, I’ve always loved crafting beautiful adornments. I started with jewelry for my dolls and eventually began creating pieces for myself and friends. My handmade creations quickly became favorites among them, and their admiration validated my skills. This served as a constant reminder of the joy and fulfillment I found in jewelry making.

With encouragement from loved ones and a newfound determination to overcome adversity, I decided to turn my lifelong passion into a business venture.

My design process is intuitive and deeply personal. Unlike traditional methods, I don't sketch out designs; instead, I let my intuition guide me. I'm especially inspired by the Art Nouveau style, with its intricate details and organic forms. Many of my creations incorporate brass and sparkling stones to bring my visions to life.

Every piece I create is handcrafted with care and intention. I take pride in ensuring exceptional quality and individuality, with careful planning and meticulous attention to detail. Each piece is truly special and one-of-a-kind.

ERAS JEWELRY PROCESS: Timeless Craftsmanship with a Sustainable Touch

My diverse background deeply inspires my shop and the items I create. Being from Spain, I incorporate the rich traditions of Spanish artisan filigree into my jewelry, along with influences from the whimsical designs of Gaudí. Living in South America introduced me to vibrant designs and the enchanting beauty of dragonflies and butterflies with their bright, iridescent colors. They evoke magical and fairy-tale-like feelings, which I weave into my designs. Living most of my life in the US has influenced me with a blend of contemporary and classic American styles, including Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern influences. I'm also inspired by the Art Nouveau era, known for its intricate, nature-inspired motifs. This fusion of cultural experiences and artistic influences shapes the unique and beautiful pieces in my work.

Every Eras Jewelry piece is an original handcrafted design, involving careful planning and meticulous attention to detail. The process is time-intensive, with some pieces taking several days to create, ensuring exceptional quality and individuality.

Using only the finest vintage and new Czechoslovakian, West German, and Austrian glass jewels, along with brilliant Swarovski crystals, each creation is a testament to quality craftsmanship. My filigrees, sourced from century-old manufacturers, add an authentic and sometimes antique touch, meticulously customized, sculpted, layered, and soldered to create unique settings.

My jewelry is crafted in small quantities, using carefully selected vintage glass stones to reduce the demand for new resources and minimize waste. This sustainable approach ensures that each piece is not only beautiful but also kind to the planet.
